On April 22, 2014, letters were mailed to qualified applicants who applied between August 19, 2013 and October 21, 2013. The deadline to have packets and verifications completed and returned our office is Thursday, May 8, 2014 by 4:00 p.m. Please do not wait until the last minute to return these items.
If you are missing some of your verifications and/or have questions about how to obtain them, please come into our office or call us at 801-900-5676 to ask us how to best proceed.
If you have received notice that your household has reached the top of the waiting list, only after your packet and verifications have been completed and returned to this office we will schedule all adult members of the household a briefing. A briefing is a group meeting where you will receive all the final paperwork and information about the Housing Choice Voucher program.
Our briefings will take place on Tuesday May 13th 3pm, Wednesday May 14th at 9am & 2pm, and Thursday May 15th at 9am. Please come prepared with information about the availability of all adult members of the household for those days and times.
At this time, the average wait for qualified current Provo residents is 6-8 months.
